Black Hawk County, IA -- Black Hawk County residents are invited to attend an upcoming town hall to learn more about the property assessment process.
Town Hall Dates:
• Thursday, February 5 at 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Cedar Falls Public Library, 524 Main Street, Cedar Falls
• Tuesday, February 24 at 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Waterloo Public Library, 415 Commercial Street, Waterloo
Please note: The sessions will focus specifically on the process of determining urban residential property valuations, not on property tax calculations.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain a clearer understanding of how assessed property values are determined and how they fit into the property tax process. The sessions will also provide information about available tax credits and exemption programs for homeowners.
