Flag Placement for Memorial Day- VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
This Memorial Day, Black Hawk County Veterans Affairs invites community members, families, and organizations to help honor the more than 5,000 fallen veterans laid to rest at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
We are seeking volunteers to assist in placing American flags at veterans' gravesites—a small but powerful gesture of remembrance and respect for their service and sacrifice.
The annual Field of Flags stands as a tribute to those who gave everything for our country.
