Building Maintenance

It is the mission of the Black Hawk County Maintenance Department to maintain an environment within our buildings and grounds that is safe, pleasant, and functional for all employees and the general public by providing professional high quality maintenance services in the most cost effective manner.

Conservation

The Black Hawk County Conservation Board (BHCCB) was authorized by the people of the county at the general election in 1956 for the purpose of purchasing and developing land for parks, hunting and fishing access, and other recreational use within the county.

County Social Services

County Social Services provides financial support for mental health and disability services programs to individuals in North Central and Northeastern Iowa.
